Weekly Macros - May 3rd, 2020

  • Stocks looked heavy late in the week as GDP numbers and FED comments weighed on investors. While Q1 earnings reports have been decent so far, markets are now looking to price in Q2 earnings which are likely to be hideous. Also - April's unemployment report is on the docket for next week - likely to create sparks as we roll into Friday.

  • On the economic calendar & reporting this week: Trade Deficit (Tue. 8:30AM ET), FED Press Conference (Wed. 2PM ET), Weekly Jobless Claims (Thurs. 8:30 AM ET) and April Unemployment Report (Fri. 8:30 AM ET).
