As if the past 9 months haven't been bad enough for the coworking firm, recent events have forced WeWork to shut down a large number of locations:
As reported by the Commercial Observer: "WeWork pulled its staff at all of its more than 100 NYC locations due to 'events unfolding across the country'"
Tenants can still enter the building(s) via keycard access.
No leasing will be going on during this time.
H&M, Target & Apple have also responded to the riots by temporarily closing their doors.
Many business owners, property managers & residents are striving to rebuild their lives in the wake of Covid-19. Cleaning up after riots is just adding insult to injury.
